University Involvement

The CCC serves as a model program for all ISU student body, the community, and the Early Childhood profession. The center operates as a lab site for practicum students and volunteers in the ISU Family Consumer Sciences Department, as well as other campus departments. The center may be used as a research site by qualifying individuals, groups, or agencies.

    Employment: Student Employees

    There are employment opportunities for Illinois State students as part-time student aides during the fall and spring semesters and the summer session. The center operates from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday year round. Learn more information about being a student aide by clicking on Student Employment tab.

    Research Opportunities

    The policy of the Illinois State University Child Care Center is to serve as a research and special project site for students and faculty at Illinois State. The Child Care Center will cooperate in ways consistent with appropriate practice to ensure the emotional, social, physical and mental well-being of children and families served.
